Ironically there is no Blogcast audio available for this post!
If you were here at the beginning you’ll have seen my slightly failed attempt at filming my blogs in order to make them more accessible for everyone. My original post (now entitled blogs, vlogs and podcasts) explains this in more detail, but essentially I found that filming was incredibly time consuming and so came to the conclusion that to be more efficient I would record just the audio instead.
That meant that instead of using a screen cap from the video to title my blogs with, I needed to create something else. So my newly found digital art skills (I’m a traditional artist by trade) were put to use to create a logo of sorts to use for this!
It seemed a bit self indulgent to just use a photo of my face (and you can see enough of that on my Instagram!) and a traditional logo seemed far too formal for what I needed so instead went for something a bit more fun and a bit more ‘me’.
I hope you like it, and hopefully the new direction of just recording the audio means I will be able to get things running a bit more smoothly and consistently from now on.
So if you’re either reading or listening to the new Blogs/Blogcasts expect to see this little bit of artwork floating around – he’ll be visible on any blog that has an attached blogcast available!
